Cancer Stinks Submissions

Calling all kids ages 3-18!

Please send us your stories, illustrations, poems, essays or thoughts on cancer.  We would love to hear about the disease through your eyes; either from your own experience or that of someone close to you.  You may submit a story or poem (up to 1000 words), artwork that is hand-drawn, colored or painted (no photography, please) or a combination of both.  All works must be original and must be accompanied by the information found below.

How to Submit

Please copy and paste the information above with all fields answered and attach submissions to the email. (Click here if you are unsure how to send an attachment.)

Artwork should be submitted in a .jpg file format, preferably at 300dpi and/or as large as you have available ("print size", not "web size"). If you choose to send materials via postal service, please be sure they are not folded and will not bend in transit. You may mail submissions to:

Terms of Submission
While you may submit more than one story or illustration, please send only one copy of each.  All duplicates will be discarded.  Please do not send original manuscripts as they cannot be returned.

Submission does not guarantee publication.  If your entry is chosen for use at a later date, you will be notified through the contact information which you provided.

You will receive acknowledgment of your submission only through the online process.
